As Chief Technology Officer, Jim is responsible for the technology direction and operation of one of the largest general contractors in the nation. Brasfield & Gorrie is the 32nd largest building general contractor according to Engineering News Record and the number 1 healthcare general contractor according to Modern Healthcare Magazine. He has the responsibility, among other duties, for all application development projects and platform decisions. He is the chief architect for all the infrastructure systems and technologies. In years past, he has been responsible for complete WAN redesign, object oriented programming initiatives, SAN storage architecture, voice over IP projects and job-site communications directives. Jim has been with Brasfield & Gorrie since 1998.
Previous experience includes PCSI, an Atlanta based consulting firm including engagements with CIBA Vision, Inc., Brockway Standard, Inc., Atlantic Steel Industries, Inc., Georgia-Pacific Corporation and Brasfield & Gorrie. Jim served as CEO of PCSI from 1996-1999. Other positions have included work with Bank South (now Bank of America) and Auto Ventshade Company.
Holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
